This is my White River rod with a beautiful medium brown figured maple reel seat insert and matching brown cork tip. Gold Silk thread tapers gracefully through the blue double tipping to the body of the rod. The gold agate stripping guide nicely complements the gold wraps and the blonde cane. The White River is a medium-fast, powerful, easy casting rod. This five weight can double haul or roll cast. This is the go-to rod on medium and large rivers.
